1- Perfect allignment
of pulleys must be ensured.Otherwise belts will break
prematurely.
2- Make sure that
the ride out of the belts is as shown.Otherwise belt will
be in contact with the bottom of the pulley ,which will
result in excessive wear OR will not be able to transmitt
the power.
3. 3) Do not push
or roll belts into the grooves . Do shorten the centre
distance first ,then apply the belts and put the centre
distance into the neccessary Position.
4. Never use levers
,screw drivers etc. to force te belts in to the Grooves.This
will result internal damages and therefore shorter belt
life.
5. Apply correct
tension to the belt( A common Practice in daily life is
applying force to the middle point of the centre distance
with fingertips,slacken enough to move 1-2cm upwards or
downwards.)
6. Heated pulleys from the outside or overheated belts
due to flex bending will cause in excessive noise. Correct
the belt tension.
7 - Loose tension and therefor the spin of the belt
as a result will again cause that the power is not transmitted
as it should be and this will result for example in
a car that the battery will not get charged and will
go flat soon.
8 - For multiple drives use Varibelt Vx belts which
are produced as match free according to International
Standarts.The whole set of the belts should be replaced
if even one belt fails.Never use old belts in set with
new belts.
